hi digitalpoint members i have a question , is there any way to post youtube comment with an url ! i tried it much but a error message say appears thanks
just add something without http:// and then you will be able to include ur link there just dont do it as your account willl spam report ASAP
Hello, YouTube doesn’t permit you to insert a URL in the comments meadow, so here’s an simple trick to orientation a video in the comments section. 1. Open the video you want to reference 2. Copy the 11-digit alphanumeric code after the = sign. 3. Paste that code 4. If you see an 11-digit code you want to watch, just open any video and paste it over the existing 11-digit code. Or paste this code, followed by the 11-digit code: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=
Probably, youtube dont allow external urls to be commented in the videos to avoid users misleading to spams. Probably, you can enter url at example.com. In this way, you wont get backlink, but your comment will seen, and people can copy and open url in new window.
I think they don't let post URLs in comments, but you can add URL in video description and to get some nice amount of traffic to your site, I usually use bit.ly shortened links.
You're right, you'll not get backlinks for SE ranking, but you definitely can get some amount of traffic.
A URL in plain text CAN be added to a comment in YouTube, without the "http://" and by enclosing the dot with double quotes, like this: "." I found that the URL can be added in this way, with words to the video owner to remove the quotes after copying the URL into their browser.
I agree with most of the users above by subtracting the http:// part. If your going to do this, i suggest using a url shortener that redirects so people dont have to type in a really long domain. A good free service i use for this is dot.tk - Also your going to have to make the comment irresistable because people are so lazy nowadays they dont want to have to type anything in the url box, all they want to do is click.
Well, it seems that youtube don't allow any such live links in comment section, but interesting comments can induce visitors to learn more about you and thus by leaving a valuable comment you can indirectly earn some traffic.
but if I see misleading youtube tutorial, is it means video response is the only way they to inform people about it?
Even if you could add links, please don't. Absolutely no one likes people spamming links on youtube (or anywhere for that matter). It'll just paint your company in a very poor light and your reputation is shot. It's not worth annoying your customers just to get a few more backlinks.
actually there is a method that works 100% i got it here ytblink.blogspot.com its a step by step easy tutorial and teaches you how to put any domain name on a youtube comment, and it can be copied and pasted by those who see the comment.
