Hello friends, I just want to add a new theme in Wordpress for public promotion. What is the procedure to do this? Please explain , I am unable to get this from wordpress help.. The basic idea is to add a new attractive theme in wordpress for the users using its blog creation.
Upload the theme in wp-content/themes then (if you are using WP2.5+) go on Design, Themes, and click on your theme. Thats all.
thanks for replying, but how this theme will show to other people making blogs in wordpress. I dont want to use this theme for my own purpose but want it to share with whole world so that people can use this theme.
Well if you want to create a theme to distribute you first need to design the theme around Wordpress. Once you do that you can zip it up, upload it to your server, and link to it from your site.
