How to add my website name to Google search result??

    I have just created a website by buying a domain. The website is running & it has already been 1 week for the website to be live.

    If in Google search also i type my full URL then also it has no results from my site.

    What steps i must take to get my website name in google.

    firstly being indexed and being ranked are 2 different things. you must use google webmaster tools for quick indexing and having more control over things.
    check your indexed pages by putting this in google's search box

    site:yourdomain.com

    Blog commenting is what I did, and actually a fresh post from your site helps out a lot too more than an empty site. Because when you have a post then Google will be notified. (via natural or manula pinging)

    You can use Google webmaster tool for fast indexing and also do blog commenting and posting your URL.

    Best option is to submit your sitemap in Google Webmaster Tool then Google will automatically index your site.

    submit your site/sitemaps to google via google webmaster tools...

    also bookmark your site through social bookmarking sites like digg, delicious, reddit, etc

    Don't submit your site to google, let google find you naturally. Submit your site at few social websites, because they are crawled by spiders very often :) Than do some basic linkbuilding and you are done. Just don't overoptimize your site because you can get into the sandbox :)
