How to add more widgets in blogger layout?

I have a custom layout that i'm using, but can't figure out how to add widgets under the 'blog post.'

Every where I read on google, it said to do "this", but it's not working. Isn't there a 'max=2' or something in the HTML code of blogger that only allows two post under the main section? I can't figure this out. Screenshots attached.

    Thank you!!

The area marked in yellow is where I want to put the widgets, but it's not letting me.

    Halp!

You just check it properly in blooger settings. There is an option over there for adding widgets. and i have already add 4 widgets in my blog.

Does your template have a footer where you can put widgets because that is what that section is. The right area of your blog is your sidebar. It appears as if the custom theme which you are using does not have the option to put widgets or anything in the footer.

It doesn't. There must be some way to something though, right?

If you want to put a widget there you will need to recode the theme and add a footer option, with the current theme you have that is not possible.

Do I have to recode the entire theme, or just add a section to the HTML? If so, how?

Maybe you should simply choose a theme with a footer and save yourself all the hassle.
