I'm trying to add a meta tag to verify my site for Google. However I think I'm placing the tag in the wrong place as Google just can't find it. Can someone please tell me the exact template to add it to? Also is this the same template to add all my other meta tags? Thank you.
Instead of editing my templates, i just created the .hmtl file and verified my site that way. I believe adding the meta tag to the header template would work but never tried it since i uploaded the file to my root directory.
