How to add Link on wordpress site appears only home page ?

    Hello friends,

    I am Doing link building and running many a blogs on wordpress format. Many of my clients showing interest on adding link home page that must appear only on home page. I know about the blog post, sitewide and blog roll. But how it is possible to add link home page that appear only on home page and not on other pages. I will be glad if someone give me Idea about this.

    I think you have to edit INDEX.PHP file to add a link on the home page
