How to add google analytics and statcounter in wordpress?

    How to add google analytics and statcounter in wordpress? I try using the google analytics wordpress plugins but it does not work.

    If you don't have theme options under appearance where you can add the code do the following.

    Login to your wordpress admin section and choose in the menu appearance/editor/ and click on the footer.php

    Now copy the google analytics and/or statcounter code direct before the </body> tag in the footer.php

    press update file. Done.

    its easy to do so, to add in google analytic add your site by your google account. To use statcounter copy the code and past in footer.php

    sign up for google analytics account and, make the necessary settings in admin panel of your WP

    You can either edit the footer like the guys above suggested, or, if you're not good at it, use this plugin.
