If you become an affilaite of most dating sites they´ll populate your site with genuine profiles. This is nothing to do with me but take a look at this http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1814349 Is this the sort of thing you´re looking for?
fake data will be very hard to do if you want all the profiles unique.... What you could do is scrape another sites members data and use that for the basis of your profiles. but if your not an experienced coder then your looking at paying someone else to do it. try some of the outsourcing websites.
