How to add description meta tags in wordpress?

When I write a post, I want to add description meta tag for the post. How to do it in Wordpress blog?

To do so, install All-In-One SEO Pack plug-in. Then you will find description meta tags field at the bottom of the post editor.

 

just install All in One SEO plugin and then when making new posts you will see options to add Keywords and Meta Description at the bottom of the screen.

Theres a plugin for this. I think its called "All in one SEO".

 

The word meta means information about. Meta Tags were created early on to provide concise information about a website. Meta tags list information about the web page, such as the author, keywords, description, type of document, copyright, and other core information.

This is an example of a meta tag for description:

<meta name="description" content="This is the
description sentence or short paragraph about
the article or post." />

 

Wordpress SEO plugin by Yoast can also achieve the same if not better. In Yoast SEO, you can also decide whether to replace Tags with Meta Keywords or not. Everybody has their personal choice but Yoast SEO is far more effective and feature rich than All in one SEO in my opinion.

Yeah, i am using all in one seo pack..from its title its a soluion for seo..you can easily create meta tags just by adding meta keywords and description..
