How to add backlinks to my site?

I'm new to SEO. I heard back link will help for page rankings.
1. How to get a backlink for my site? Where I put those links?

What are you trying to do? Boost your post count? This is a forum...I suggest you read it first before you ask such a question that would take a long time for anyone to answer

 

You can build Backlinks from Social Bookmarking, Forum Profiles, Blogs, Article Submission etc.

But you need to be sure that the sites you are going to backlink your site at are Dofollow.

Also, Try to post backlinks on atleast PR4 and above sites.

There are, of course, many ways to build backlinks. One way -- maybe not the easiest way -- is to visit relevant sites and simply ASK for backlinks. If you have quality content, and your site isn't perceived to be a competitor, then the webmaster might just give you a link. Of course, trying to get backlinks this way is a numbers game for sure, and should not be your primary way of getting backlinks. But I so often read so many creative ways of getting backlinks that I sometimes wonder why more people don't consider the obvious.

Personally, I have not had as much success with blog commenting.. It seems that blogs accept my comment, but deletey link, so they get the benefit of a relevant response but the blog admins are not rewarding me with keeping my link. Has been a waste of time for me.. just my experience, on the other hand, I have found great results with article submissions...
