    Check out Invisonize.com. They have free modifications to IPB that you can add on once your a member.

    One easy way is to use addonchat from http://www.addonchat.com

    First, go to addonchat.com and register. You can pick the 'free' version for now.
    Next, check their knowledgebase article here: http://support.addoninteractive.com/index.php?action=kb&article=24
    on how to integrate addonchat with IPB.

    Other chat choices basically work the same way, although for complete integration you have to make more skin adjustments / customizations for some than others.
