hi i bought few sites and i now want to show my adsense... previous sites were already having adsense code but now I want to show my adsense ads.. should i just change publisher ID ? or change full code? I heard something that change full code.. please help
Change the full code and you might want to use a pluggin called " advertising manager" ( Previously called adsense manager" which will save you from lot of trouble in the future. I am assuming you have wordpress.
If there is change of ownership, then you should have your own codes. For this, you must have an adsense account and if you have one, then log in to your adsense account, get the required codes and paste them at appropriate places. That's all...
Why don't you create your own code in your adsense account and add it where old publisher code currently exist ? Its easy to do that task. DON.
bcoz it will be tough.. there is one file where i only need to edit pub ID and it will then show all my ads... i think i will change all codes then.. which wordpress plugin is best? advertisement manager or easy adsenser? deluxdow - why you don't reply my pm
Where is the difficulty there when you are just copying and pasting it? Changing just the pub id will sometimes put you into trouble if you missed some of the numbers of your pub ID.. wheas, if you change the whole code... you can begin and end with <script> codes... You might missed some of the digits of your pub id if you will not do it carefully.
Then its ok to edit only Pub ID (change to yours) in that one file. And btw i don't have that much time to respond you everything in PM. You need help with brief details so Sorry. DON.
It is better to place ads manually... like editing the sideba.php, index.php, header.php, and single.php.. Using plugin is limited where you cannot place the ads exactly where you want to, and sometimes makes your blog slower..
