How to add a sidebar to wordpress?

    Hey, I want to add an EXTRA sidebar to my wordpress template. Can any show me how?

    I think the easiest way is to choose a 3 column template.

    yeah it would be a mess to add a sidebar to a theme that was not created with that purpose in mind, you will need to know a good deal of CSS

    Start with a 3-column template and modify it to achieve what you want - if you post it to rentacoder, someone might do it for you for $10-$20 I am sure.
