    Hi everyone,
Firstly, I need to admit that I'm a writer and I'm not technical by any stretch of imagination. I need your help in installing a plugin to my blog.

I want to install the "subscribe to comments" plugin to my site, cellphone-advertising.com. When I check out the WordPress plugins section, it says I need to upload the plugin to wp-content/plugins directory. How do I do that? Where do I find that directory?

I'd appreciate a detailed explanation. Sorry if it sounds too basic to you guys. Thanks in advance for your time.

it is the same thing you upload the files of your blog script, is it wordpress? if yes, just use an ftp software to upload it to your directory.

You need to use FTP software to reach your directories, it should be what you used to upload Wordpress, unless you used an auto installer from a hosting service.

Smart FTP is software I use, and have done for ages. Use that to enter your domain name, ftp username and password. Go to the public httpdocs folder, go to the "wp-content" folder, and then "plugins". upload your plugin here (unzip it first though).

It is hard to describe this easily to a non technical person but I hope what I have explained really helps you. If you require further assistance, please feel free to ask and I will try to expand on any areas you are unsure about :)

Install FTP software from www.download.com or cnet.com like file zilla. Then go to ur root dir then open that dir where u install ur wp software. >> wp-content folder, and then plugins

uPLOAD ur plugin folder there and then extract the folder.
