    Hi there,
An easy way to do this is to create new modules, and then in these modules add your images. Once you have done this, place the module positions in your template, and publish!

This should give you enough control, and should not be so hard. What way are you doing this? As you are saying it is not straight forward at all!

Remember that Joomla is a very powerful CMS, and there is almost always more than one way to achieve something.

    Any problems, let me know!
    Cheers

Thanks a lot. I ended up figuring out to do exactly what you say in this post. I am actually really starting to get used to and like joomla. It seems more powerful that drupal.

Thanks again, good to know I can get info from about Joomla in the future as I plan on using it more and more.

    Not a problem!

I agree, Drupal seems good, but the fact that you have to install a lot of components before it is ready to use is kind of frustrating for me!
You can use the module method for anything, text, images, affiliate links etc.
Just setup a test site and keep playing with it, you will learn a lot that way! That is the way I learnt, I never read the manual :p

    Cheers
