How to Add A Drop Down Menu?

    Hello, I read an article on how to add a drop down menu for Javascript but it was different than the one I wanted.

    If you go here www.gamedev.net they have a drop down navbar with color and no arrow, I would like that kind, but don't know the code, and I need it to fit on these buttons (width/height) at www.thedevnetwork.com please help?
