    How to Activate Windows XP over Phone - Tutorial

    Dear Members,

    This tutorial will guide you to Activate Windows XP over phone. It applies to the following XP Editions.
    Windows XP Professional - Retail / OEM
Windows XP Home Edition - Retail / OEM
Windows XP Tablet PC Edition - Retail / OEM 
Windows XP Media Center Edition - Retail / OEM
    Code (markup):
    1. Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Activate Windows

    2. Select the second option and click next
    [​IMG]
    3. Call your local TOLL Free no:
    Select - 1 - To Activate
    Select - 2 - To Activate Windows
    And tell her your system Installation ID
    At this point - Select Option 1 - She will assume that you are reinstalling the software on a same PC (Don't select option 2 here, if you do the key will be blocked and you will never be able to activate windows in your PC)
    Now, She will give you the Activation ID, Enter it in the respective text box.
    Click Next

    5. Voila your Windows XP is activated.

    Really great tutorial! This is applicable if you don't have internet access, then again who's not connected to the internet?

    What annoys me about threads like this is how can someone without internet read it?

    I see this all the time. My ISP's handbook suggests if you have no interet connnection visit http://www...........

    Yes, you're right. But I believe this will help those if the license has been used couple of times already and can't register online. Thus, this is the only method they can use.

    yes, i believe this only happens on genuine copy. don't think you can use fake copy license id to register over the phone.

    This works on fake copy too.
    Iam just thinking, is this method is going to be saturated? Or not? If not then Windows will take a heavy capital damage.

    I've used phone activation once. Maybe The Count from Sesame Street would enjoy it but I hated it. So many numbers! :mad:
