    Directories are like bonus. you should do Directory submission. and start working on other techniques. after a good amount of time you will see the directory links :)
    for high quality links i think the best way is to create web 2.0 properties. then start linking your site with them randomly. remember RANDOMLY.

    Yeah....got it.....But i have PR2 website...with a few back links too...my alexa ranking is also pretty high....but still am not in top 100 list for my targetted keyword...can u tell me y??? and can u help me to get rid of this problem???

    Alexa who? Forget about it. Does Alexa pay users for higher rankings?. No.

    If you're outside the top100 in Google for your keyword it's because you're not getting enough quality links. So build quality links targeting your keyword until your rankings improve for that keyword. It's as simple as that. The answer to any "make money online" question is BUILD MORE QUALITY LINKS.
