How to Achieve target keywords?

Hi DP guys

I want to know that how to achieve target keywords on first page.
Means which steps should take by me one by one for my targeted keywords.

I want to come first for this keywords: web design company

Now it is not in 200 and I want to come first page for this keywords.
So how can I do it? Please suggest me step by step to come first.

Pls help me..

"Web design company", that's your keyword. Now if you could expound a little on it, like how you propose the web to appear before which consumer types, and a bit of specifics on its projected contents, it would be easier for you to build up on your target keywords upto 200 words and fit to land in the first page. I hope I got you right.

It only makes sense within certain geo area .

 

keep in mind it may take time to get well ranked. this is no guarantee it will be in top 10 as well . Do on site the best you can and get some quality backlinks.

First it too competitive keyword. So you've to do hard work on your site.

- First, Do on page Optimization. Place your keywords in your Title Tag, META Description tag, META Keyword tag, Alt IMG tag, Text links, Keyword rich body text, anchor text etc.

- Make a sitemap covering all you pages.

- Use robot.txt file for nofollow pages.

- Do Research your competitors sites. Check that which keywords he is targeting. How he has used his keywords in his site body? Which are the backlinks to his site? etc....

- Than start to optimize your site's both on-page and off-page factor.

- Do directory submissions, article submissions, social bookmarking, classified submissions, write press release.

- Try to do link-exchange with relevant sites.

- Get links on high PR sites.

Just do these all these stuffs and continue with them. You'll definitely get the high ranking in search results within few months.

All these stuff will definitely take some time so you must wait for it.

"web design company" is quite competitive. If you're just starting optimizing your site, it would be better to focus first on long tail keywords (4-5 keywords)... then little by little if you've seem some improvements, then that's the time you start targeting competitive keywords.

To achieve higher ranking in serp, you must do proper on-page optimization as well as getting backlinks from relevant sites with proper targeting of your keywords.
