Hi there, I just dropped by to let you in on a little secret that a select few of us have known about for quite some time... It's a way to gain hundreds (if not thousands) of twitter followers in a VERY short period of time... I was going to have you PM me for the information but I figure digitalpoint doesn't have the reach that some other forums do so it'll be ok to post the site in a public thread... The site is called Ninja Follow, and it's located at: http://www.ninjafollow.com ... Enjoy!
Wait, what excaclty does this service do? Its asking for a list of usernames, so we need to know them in the first place anyways?
I'm guessing there's a chance it could just be a splash page to steal your Twitter account. How do we know you won't do anything with our information? This also makes me wonder. Why is your site in a frame? <html> <FRAMESET border='0' ROWS='*,1'> <FRAME SRC='http://www.nowsayit.com/ninjafollow/'><FRAME SRC='blank.html'> </FRAMESET> </html> Code (markup):
I still can't figure out why Twitter is growing:). I have some followers, I am following, but it doesn't really help with sales. In my opinion (at least in my situation), it brings some bounced traffic, nothing more nothing less
put my password into an untrusted site? you've got to be kidding me! while we're at it, can i have your username and password too?
sometimes you get new followers just based on who you follow and what u post to them, so just do that, it's safe
What a fake site. He's phishing info from unknowing victims. Don't anyone put their info in that unless you don't mind having your twitter account hijacked. What a scam! here's his whois info Registrant: cube3Design 11604 W Bluemound Rd Wauwatosa, WI 53226 US Domain name: NINJAFOLLOW.COM Administrative Contact: Kehl, William 11604 W Bluemound Rd Wauwatosa, WI 53226 US +1.2623914025 http://whois.domaintools.com/ninjafollow.com http://whois.domaintools.com/nowsayit.com
You're a complete moron. If I were planning on phishing twitter accounts, dont you think I would've atleast blocked my WHOIS information? LOL. And the reason the site is in an iframe is because it's hosted on my other hosting account, at nowsayit.com. For those of you who are interested in actually using the tool instead of bashing it, here's how it works: 1. get a list of twitter usernames 2. make sure they're comma separated (csv) 3. put them into ninjafollow to FOLLOW them. ~ At this point, you should wait a day or two, you will see tons of these users following you back ~ 4. UNFOLLOW the same list of users, so your account doesnt look like a spam bot 5. Use your new following for whatever you want. I'm actually going to turn this into a pay service very, very soon, so use it for free while you can. The reason being, the user who said "It only worked on 2 usernames then stopped", the server is getting flooded with requests because we apparently have a lot of users. By making it a pay-per-use service, we can decrease the load a ton. Good night, and good luck. Bizzykehl Cube 3 Design, LLC
You just violated the TOS here my good friend. You can disagree with someone, but calling names is as childish and un-businesslike as it gets. How do we know your whois info real? Do we all know you? Anyone can put anything in their whois info. It does not mean it's real. I posted your whois info., to get you to respond. I didn't expect you be unprofessional if you are indeed a legit service. So to me, this validates your scam. You don't come in here with 21 posts and ask for people's twitter usernames and passwords. If I were a "moron", I would have entered my account information on your site. So as it stands, I'm still pretty smart. Nice attempt, btw, at trying to pass your script-writing flaws off as' "getting flooded with requests". I saw the errors, they were script specific. If your server can't handle a few referral clicks from DP, then you must be on ancient technology. I have gotten more traffic in the last 2 minutes since I have been wasting my time responding to you, then you will get at your site all day.
Check out www.tweetdeck.com it'll help tremendously I've gotten a few sales, and several good leads from twitter in the last 2 weeks. Here is something I've been playing with, check it out and get a free marketing book as a bonus. As the page says ( on my link ) the info isn't stored anywhere, it's only a php page, no ties to the DB.
I like twitter. It is really good for building up relationships with people, though it takes time just like when you meet people face to face. Twitter gives me to opportunity to come in contact with people who know things I need to know, so I think it rocks. Plus, the extra traffic to my blog is nice too.
Ok, give me an exampe of how you use Twitter, step by step. Let's say you have to announce something or you just finished with a new article. I basically update my followers, then what?
