    once if your publisher account reaches $100,by the end of next month adsence will issue check and you are expected to get it by the end of next month.
    Adwords is the program for advertisers where you have to pay to the google so that your add will be served in different sites.
    you can try google adsence help groups,adsence blog for further information.
