HOW the heck does he get all this traffic to his site????

Affilate links can make people alot of money selling the stupidest things. I know a guy pulling in 3k a month just selling sunglasses, through about 350 affiliates. I'm guessing it took a decent amount of work to get that many affiliates though.

If the statistics you provided are correct, he's probably buying traffic.

His amount of visitors exploded in March. I don´t think this is achievable by SEO, not this fast. If you look at the summary on Quantcast, he has a lot of ´passers-by´. These people will probably never return to his site.

I visited his site and It wasn't great. When I tried to close it, I got a popup that tried to 'convince' me to stay, followed by another popup. It took 4 clicks to close the site. This is just to say, he's trying to sell something and he'll probably do anything to get traffic. He probably doesn't care if it's targeted or not.

So he is just buying any NON bot traffic that can be found for sale even on DP forums?

There is no way to know that, unless the owner of the site installs the traffic tag.

There for several months I was using quantcast and google analytics together at the same time. And the reports where almost exactly the same. When I took the quantcast tags off my site, they said my traffic took a nose dive. While according to google analytics my traffic was going up.

Whether they buy or they did it themselves make no difference. But with such stats it surely gives a good image for them, especially in attracting new affiliates and building investor confidence. Make sense ;)

Yeah, no shit. If I had a gun, I'd shoot that site right in the head and drag its carcass into the ditch.

Think about it... anyone promoting this site is undoubtedly promoting other sites as well. Their methods of promotion are going to be seen by the same visitors. Not to mention, why would so many people who want credit cards be visiting coregmedia.com?? They wouldn't! Coregmedia is an advertising site. So most on of the affiliates for this program is promoting via coregmedia and his/her visitors are opting in to coregmedia offers.

I know I'm not the only marketer who knows this stuff. I learned it from someone else. Why do so many of the smart ones stay away from forums??

Quantcast compiles information based on what visitors do. The similarities aren't lexically derived. Therefore they are more accurate than just saying "Page A looks like page B, so they must be similar." http://www.quantcast.com/docs/display/info/General+Methodology+Overview

PS - duh it's advertising! Anytime you get something in a consumers face it's advertising. If you didn't advertise, they'd never see you (by definition)! http://www.nicherichmarketing.com/posts/marketing-advertising-difference/
I think you mean specifically media buys, as opposed to search advertising. And the listing of coregmedia.com in the "Audience Also Likes" list says he or his affiliates also do co-registration advertising.

I believe you can differentiate whether or not it is come from the adwords or SEO with seeing it whether or not that link come to the search engine.if it is showed up @ sponsored pages you know what they do

His site also has a very nice and clean design, so it looks very professional. This will make viewers want to stay on the page, because it gives the site a reputable look.

This is a CPA offer. I promote this very offer via facebook ads and made $23.20 each time somebody signed up to the credit card offer.

The only reason the site has so much traffic is from the thousands and thousands of affiliates sending traffic to it.. its all PAID traffic.

Checked one of my sites on Quantcast, where I do not have their code installed and they were off by about...oh I don't know, 85%. It's like using Alexa to figure out your monthly uniques, worthless.
