    Hi,

I have started adsense program for my blog as well as one of my client's site recently.

Initially I published adsense ads on around 50 pages and at that time I was getting around $9 to $10 per day. And now I have published adsense ads on more than 200 pages. But still the revenue generated remains as it was i.e. $10 per day.

I thought that it will increase from $10 to $40, but it is not happening.

How google adsense calculates the revenue for publisher as well as advertisers?

AdSense is click related income. As clicks go up, the revenue potential goes up. Theoretically, the mor epages with AdSense, the better the results. However, people need to be going to those pages.

Some people postulate that through smart pricing, click rates can decline if the extra pages are not very popular or do not generate much in the way of clicks. At the same time, click rates on the site can decline from time to time. On mine, they vary wildly from one day to the next, mostly reflecting the mix of ads which are served.

It is a revenue share system. Publishers get something around 40% and Google keeps the rest. Google does not provide actual data.

But click rates on individual ads in a block can range a lot. here might be one at 5 cents a click all the way to one at $1 a dollar.

    Hi Thanks for your guidance.

You have mentioned about popularity of the pages. All the pages from my client's site getting monthly unique visitors around 100 to 150 (for every single page)

hmm... So did u mean that it's better to put adsense only in the popular page? and by putting them in the unpopular page will make the rate decrease?
