Facebook is best for social marketing purpose. Daily lots of accounts will be added in facebook.
Its future is good and large also.

Facebook is going to become smaller soon , they have too much spam and they're screwing themselves up by having many new features losing the reason why people joined them in the first place SIMPLICITY

In my opinion, it all depends on their management and the strategies they choose. As of now they are simply the best. But they need to work on pushing spam down and improving user features.

    cheers

When something becomes too big and it starts to bite into many other things (greed) its bound to fail. Facebook will be less popular in the future. Its peak would be only between 2010 and 2015, later its sure to go downhill.

Google is god now.Facebook will not survive very long, as people will feel sooner or later social media fatigue.

Yes, the future of Facebook is secure, as there are too much peoples join this site everyday. This website is very popular between teens.

Right now, Facebook is unstoppable amongst social networking sites and I haven't seen or heard of anything that is a threat to it NOW. At the moment, beating Facebook is improbable, but not impossible. As for beating Google, that's unlikely unless Facebook makes its own search engine and won't rely anymore on Google.
