my earnings are great this christmas season because my sites that have never even had any earnings at the first month now has about $.98
I too have suffered from a decrease in traffic over the past couple days. I think its pretty safe to say that this time of the year there is a decrease in Internet traffic due to people spending time on vacation with their families and not in front of the computer.
Earnings were awesome Christmas Eve, but dropped 90% Christmas Day! Doing a little better today, but not even close to what I usually do.
Well, it seems some people have been really adversely affected while others seem to have done pretty much as usual, which is a bit surprising.
i had a weird christmas day! my traffic was 1/4 of what it normally is, but my cpm was triple! no idea how that works, but it wasn't as bad as i was expecting.
My earnings have dropped substantially, down at least 90% over the last week or so but in that same time my search engine rankings have done extremely well.. cant wait till new years comes along.
I could handle Xmas drop, but when almost all my sites completelly disappeared from Google top serps on Xmas day, I can easily say I am in knock out Yesterday earnings were on 20 % of November and December average, today I guess it will be even less.
Was expecting a big drop off over Xmas but actually did a little better than normal. Newbies trying out their new PCs perhaps?
50% drop from 23rd - 26th then nearly double the normal daily average on the 28th! Though I expect that to go back to normal today!
For two days, there are improvements in my traffic. Anybody experience the same? My niche is programming.
Now that Xmas is over id be expecting an increase in traffic/clicks as people hould still be on holiday? lets see what happens.
Not an increase in traffic as such - not compared to any other day, but over the last 2 days there has definitely been an increase in Adsense earnings - over and above a 'normal' day.
SOme update. Pre-Xmas was below normal ( wayyyy below ) but post-Xmas is above normal ( wayyy above ) Very strange..
Its not all that surprising because sometimes a day on a weekend can be similar to a weekday despite lower traffic. The higher cost per click can make up for the lower CTR.
