@OP - Mate no one is going to spoon feed you everything you need to know, however, every time i talk to a clickbank publisher i tend to repeat myself over and over. Clickbank can and is profitable if you apply yourself. I used to and still do run a couple of campaigns involving clickbank products that are still quite profitable. Here's some general guidelines. Gravity, sort by that and you'll see what affiliates are making money from. However do not put all the weight on gravity, check the landing page and make sure it looks professional. Do your research, look at keywords regarding that products specific niche, see if their high competition, or if they'll be easy to rank for, if thats your promotion method. Same applys to pretty much any way you want to promote products, do your research, you'll come out better in the end than blind trial and error.
All marketers has their own strategy as we have in forex. You should do research and come up with yours own. You do yourself and you will plan better way. From any success story you can not follow and win in the same way.
My suggestion might be to try the first step to be a beginner (affiliate) to sell the product to others. : D
There are some good stories on this forum so you might want to check that out instead of asking here.
my story: i tried all the methods for advertising products, youtube , review blogs, SEO, forums , everything, and for now the main source of traffic is SEO, yes it takes some times but when doing it exactly how it needs to be done, you should make a lot of money.
Being a vendor = spending your time recruiting affiliates, assisting affiliates & keeping them happy, and trying to increase your gravity/marketplace ranking. Huge potential for building lists & making backend sales, but if you can't recruit affiliates or build a product that converts well, you're completely screwed. Being an affiliate = spending your time trying to get traffic via any viable means (SEO/PPC/SMM/etc), minimal up-front time required to begin earning money, but if you're not experienced in some form of 'traffic procurement' (or willing to learn how) then you're completely screwed. Almost every vendor on ClickBank makes a sizable chunk of their income from affiliate & backend sales, so I'd suggest you begin as an affiliate to learn the ropes and then identify a niche that would make a suitable entry point as a vendor. You can then use the skills you've learned (and the mailing list you've built!) to establish yourself as a vendor.
