How stumbleupon help in marketing/Traffic of a site.

    I heard that webmasters get great traffic from stumbleupon , i m confused that how stumbleupon help in marketing/Traffic of a site.

    How can i ask others to stumb my site or pages.

    I've not used it but it appears a bit of a novelty more than anything else, random visitors may be great for traffic but not for conversion. I know users can set preferences but still...

    You need to sign up with StumbleUpon and download the toolbar, and then give your own site the 'thumbs up'. Then other users have a (tiny) chance of see your page when they press their 'Stumble' button. As Colm says, conversions are pretty low.

    I found stumbleupon can get you some traffic, but not very traget. Not sure it's just my problem or not.

    well one of my sites i gave it a tumbs up and i got 1600 unique in that one day traffic dropped next day to norman :( but it was a nice change
