Rules How strict is the duplicate thread interpretation ?

How dissimilar does a thread in BST need to be from other threads to avoid being considered a duplicate thread and subject to an infraction ?

Say I have a script in the scripts section, throughout the life of that scripts thread I've offered incentives such as image packages to sweeten the deal. If I start a thread a month or two down the road which is a package that includes the original script, all previous incentives, and some sort of other content, would that be considered a duplicate thread ?

What if I have multiple items throughout the BST section, would I be subject to an infraction for creating a new thread for a package that included multiple items from that pool and nothing new, what if a new item were added ?

What if I have a new version of a script available, say it goes from version 2.0 to 2.5 or 3.0, would I be subject to an infraction for starting a new thread for version 2.5, what about version 3.0 ?

So I should update my existing threads with the new versions and updates, but isn't that going to get me bumping infractions for trying to attract attention ?
