Saw a thread in the forum under Services about providing "professional services" to write comments on Do Follow blogs. The thread started yesterday after i shared the free online tool to find DoFollow blogs. Now this guy is providing paid services to spam thousands of DoFollow blogs out there and earning the dollars for himself. It is sad to see that kind of thread and hate to know that DoFollow tool is abused by such people. I need help in making sure that guys in DP knows that they can actually find DoFollow sites themselves and not letting such spammers earn the dollars. Click here for the tool, and please share around. This is irritating and how can i do it?
Providing links to dofollow blogs is insighting spam, 99% of people looking for dofollow blogs are looking only to manipulate the SERPs. You providing the blogs is just as bad as the spammers themselves.
Erm...i am giving a thought to stop this tool since just now. Was trying to provide a good tool but i think it backfired.
Haha, yeah. Since the only use of the tool is manipulation of the SERPs, I can't think of any legit use of the tool. Being able to create this though, does show that you are able to create more legitimate and useful tools.
I do have other creations that yet to be released. Now looking at the situation, i may not be releasing them anymore. It would be better if i just use them for performing SEO for my clients. Sorry but thank you for waking me up. Cheerz
I don't think the majority of people looking for dofollow blogs are spammers, but the spammers post massive ammounts of comments and trackbacks, so it looks this way. I strongly believe that quality contributions should be incentived and rewarded by dofollow links and I'm getting most and best contributions on my blogs that have dofollow.
Although wasn't it Google who encouraged Wordpress to have nofollow by default? This is for the soul reason that blog comments with dofollow are used primarily to manipulate the SERPs. Maybe it gets you more comments, but it's certainly not good for the SERPs. Maybe the majority aren't posting in bulk but I'm sure they are commenting to manipulate the SERPs.
Fair enough. "You comment I follow" --> This is the slogan to encourage commentators. And while doing so it also benefits the commentators.
I guess you've never tried spamming yourself? And you tell yourself that it's not profitable so you don't get seduced by the dark side?
I believe spammers play the numbers game. I see them spamming forums on religion with porn, just not a fit for the spam. However, no one cares anymore. Basically, they just go out there, slam as much as they can and work on an CTR of under 0.001%.
Most people who post their links on blog comments are just trying to manipulate SERPs. They "pretend" to be care and talked related things because they don't want their links to be erased. That's all.
