I doubt anything will happen from that one link - you can probably get more from sig link on this forum. ;)

What are your expectation to happen. If your looking for SEO promotion should be the best way. Forum Sigs are one of it. But don't spam the forum. Your post at 4:07 was spidered quickly at 4:29.

If there is any change at all, then yes, you'll need to wait. At least a month for googles ODP clone to show the link (assuming it's still updating monthly). Up to three months for it to effect PR (or when ever PR updates). And possibly even longer for the other ODP clones to pick it up, then for their links to be updated through any SE.

In the meantime, update your site, promote it through other methods, and carry on like normal.

Congrats on the link, but don't get your hopes too high ;)

Oops, didn't realise the OP had posted the same question in a few threads...

I agree with what the others are saying - you aren't going to see any major kick in rankings - whoever gave you that impression had inaccurate information.

The ODP/DMOZ is not a quick way to get a lift in your rankings in search engines, even if you ARE listed.

Not all ODP Clones have value Q, some may be but not all. Google picks and spider back links but most clones are useless and doesn't give weight and there is no SEO benefit for that. Only duplicate content. Imagine a person signing up for a job and the next 99 persons in line have the same face, height and everything. It will be too hard to guess among duplicates of 100 Qryztufre. :D

    Congratulations on the listing.

Having expectations that an ODP listing will provide you with a significant bost in the search engines will only lead to disappointment. ;)
