As per my question .. how soon can one expect to see a PR increase .. say after you've gotten around eight very decent PR 6 to PR 7 links? Will there be an increase and does Google calculate PR on a daily basis? I'm not talking about the toolbar PR.
From what I can tell my sites get updated about every 3 months, all during the same period, so I guess these update periods are not related to every website individually. Last changes happened 2-3 weeks ago, so do the math to see when you can expect some moves again..
Google updates pr like 3-4 months once it's not a fix order so you go and develop more links and try to climb rankings not watch for PR (it's not soo important) Regards
Alright .. thanks guys. I've heard from some members that they've noticed increases in PR using em live PR or future PR tools after they've gotten some great backlinks .. so I asked. I'm aware that the toolbar updates are every 3 or 4 months .. just wondering about the 'real' PR (if there is such a thing)
It's not the toolbars that are updating, it's the PageRanks themselves changing periodically. Those toolbars are meant to display the "real" PR of the site you're browsing..
toolbars do show the real prs, like clive said, and like the others said, u have like another 3 months wait before u'll see a pr increase since the last update just finished
I began a blog in December and a week later I was added to the "Z list meme" and was a PR5 very shortly after from the explosion of backlinks.
