Now i know something about social bookmarking but i just wanted to know, how social bookmarking can help us to get good traffic and how we can submite our site into good social bookmarking sites. First i will tell you that for generate traffic, the social media optimization is hot in today's search marketing industries. The basic idea of social bookmaking is like "Add to favorite" option in our browser. this file can only access by a particular Desktop while on social bookmaking you can add your favorite site on a particular site like stumbleupon and you can access your favorite site from any desktop which has internet connection moreover your favorite site can use other people also and that feature will generate traffic on your site. now how traffic generate through social bookmaking.. The normal nature of social book marking site is like pipeline the people adding there site and that site is placed in recent and come over day by day and people visit that recent site and bookmaking on your site and so on.
submit ur site to bookmarking sites, its free, and u will see some good traffic from there. but for only few hours, after that, it depends on how many votes people give to ur site, more votes ur site have, search google for "list of social bookmarking sites" and u will get a free list.
Not all niches can benefit from this kind of traffic... Not many people will go to Stumbleupon or reddit to find worthy sites about mechanical engineering or stuff like that... However, people will gladly visit and look around on a site with silly videos from youtube and 15 yrs old 'funny pictures', that we all see on every site out there...
