    It just shows how , human body disintegrates while smoking but knowing all these harmful effects many would not leave smoking just because they are addicted to it..

    what.. its showing nothing.. imaging the pencil as a cigarette and the ash.. and the tray is ash tray.. so its saying that when cigarette lights it gets diminished timely and produces ash :D

    It is saying that the effects of smoking are cumulative. Each cigarette, like each pencil shaving, seems meaningless by it self. But one day there's no pencil left to sharpen.

    It is showing smoking is like sharpening a pencil, the more you sharpen the pencil as shown in the sharpening debris in the ash tray, the shorter will the pencil (your life). Quite abstract, wonder if such adverts helps?

    I think this message is too subtle...the most of the smokers wouldn't pay attention to something like this...:(
