How should I use this domain?

I have a site, lets call it themainsite.com

I'm getting all my backlinks/SEO work done for this domain.

I also bought the-main-site.com domain but am not using it at all.

What would be the best use of it?

At present it's just sat there doing nothing.

301 redirect it to themainsite.com

There are no other worthwhile options than the re-direct? Not surprised, was just hoping there may be some good tricks I could do with it.

 

not really, unless you want to build the pagerank of that domain and sell the rest of the site with that domain but thats just stupid

301 redirect is the ony real reasonable thing

Park it on sedo and hold for 5-7 years.
This may sound insane but if i were you i would have done that.
enough time to build backlinks by then

 

Redirect the one that you're not using to the main site.
