I am in the process of building a Global Warming website. As of now, if I am reading an article on my website, the title of the page is as Follows: 'GlobalWarmingChange: ARTICLE NAME'

Should I get rid of the "GlobalWarmingChange" (my site title), or should I keep it? Which way will help it rank higher on google?

For reference, here is an article on the site I am buidling: http://globalwarmingchange.blogspot.com/2010/01/deforestation-and-global-warming.html

I would put your page titles first for each post
in the example you linked to, this is all I would have in the title tag

    Deforestation and Global Warming

the most common format is "post title - site title" if your site is a blog,
anyway using various title for each page is better.
and you should separate the title "GlobalWarmingChange" to "Global Warming Change".

I dont think you need to put the site title there. bots and users both knows whats the site.

page title would be just fine. if you have categories and/or subcategories, you can append them after the article title.

Yeah that's better, but how would you make the post title comes first before the site title?

For SEO purposes, you should use your main keywords for only your home page title; keep it under 65 characters (including spaces) for best optimization in the Google search engine.

As a matter of fact, you shouldn't use your actual site name in your page title at all. That's the purpose of logos; let them speak for your brand. Using your site name in your title is nothing but vanity and unless it's your main keyword, it has zero benefit for SEO.

You should do the same for each of your page titles throughout your site for the best results. SEO is for search engines, not people. So, where it is concerned, you need to play their game.

I'd suggest "Article Title : Blog Title".

    Here I agree with WallaceYeung

First separate your blog/site name to "Global Warming Change" instead of "GlobalWarmingChange"
    Second use Article/page Title | Blog/site title
Its of no use to keep the blog/site title in the first place, as this particular word will come regularly in every page or article you write.
