I created about 100 backlinks today and archived them in a notepad file. I want Google to crawl these pages, so I know that Google indexes the update. How should I go about doing this? I've heard of sitemaps before but Google only seems to accept sitemap links within your domain. http://www.google.com/addurl/ This tool doesn't seem efficient either.
where else you would put your sitemap if it is not within your domain? thats the whole purpose of sitemap where al the links to your site is found in one place that is easy for google to follow. addurl page will work but will take some time for google to index from this submission. best way to get your site/blog indexed fast is by building backlinks form high authority/high PR sites where googlebot visits quite often. high ranking popular social bookmarking sites are good to use for getting your site indexed faster
You can't submit your backlinks to google, you can just help your backlinks to be noticed by google by indexing them....just ping your backlinks from www.autopinger.com
Don't worry about how, just do it. If you do a simple search on this forum as well as a few other IM forums, you will hear people talking about article marketing, blog commenting, profile building, guest posting, social bookmarking to dofollow social networks... Google will sooner or later detect backlinks to your website, so wasting time on helping your backlinks get indexed faster actually slows you down because it's always better to build one more link instead of going to get your existing ones get crawled.
Social bookmarking is a great way to get your back links indexed. Might be worth you investing in some bookmarking software to help you (just do a search on Google for it) if you'll be doing it regularly. Hope that helps
Sitemap is a .xml file you keep on your host server containing a list of all your websites pages. Your backlinks as stated above have nothing to do with this. I personally leave my backlinks to get crawled naturally this is better for long term SEO. Social Bookmark/Network site get indexed very quickly so submitting the sites with your backlink on will get them tracked faster. If you are posting comments on peoples blogs, a good way to speed this up is to ping the blog once your comment has be approved or submit the feed (RSS or atom) to google.
i usually use google addurl to submit my site but right now i use wp blog so , everything is pinged automatically and i never submit it anymore. But i do not know it is better or not if i still submit it to google!
Ah, I see. Those are all great tips. Thank you very much. You see, I once tried creating backlinks quite some time ago. I built about 400 from a lot of quality places like blogger, but none of them were indexed. I built about 100 for my health site a few months back, submitted the links to submit url on google, and it now has a PR 2. So, I was just wondering if there was a method to this or not.
