If I was to buy a domain and a host, how should I set things up to get the best google rating?

If I'm promoting 10 different products would I rate highly if I setup landing pages like this:

    www.webpage.com/product01.html
    www.webpage.com/product02.html
    www.webpage.com/product03.html
    www.webpage.com/product04.html
    www.webpage.com/product05.html
    www.webpage.com/product06.html
    www.webpage.com/product07.html
    www.webpage.com/product08.html
    www.webpage.com/product09.html
    www.webpage.com/product10.html

what's the best way to get the highest ammount of conversions? I'm going to attempt some bum marketing and adwords once I figure out good keywords etc

I'm a total newbie and really appreciate help. I'm in the Army so I only have a few hours a day i can put into this.

Well if you're just setting up landing pages with sales letters or opt ins, I wouldn't worry too much about how you show up in the search engine results page. Focus your seo efforts on your offsite content submissions and bookmarking....

For instance, each article you submit should ideally be catered towards a keyword that gets a couple thousands searches per month but when typed into google using "keyword", shows less than 75,000 results.

Now it would help to know what kind of products these are. Are they ebooks? How are they related? Is it worth the effort to promote all 10 or could you just focus on one larger product and use the information in the others as giveaways.

In order to gain a customer base you're going to have to provide a ton of value before you can even start selling. That's why giving away some of your information products is so powerful. Once people realize you're the real deal, they're going to be much more willing to buy from you.

Overall, I'd say setting up a one page squeeze page containing a bit of sales copy about your freebie and some opt in forms is a good start.
