I have recently started a new blog which has a good domain name and i have written 1 decent post based on my research and experience.
Now i plan to keep on writing new posts but i am finding it difficult to motivate myself for regular blog posting.

Is someone else facing this problem? How do you tackle it?

    Plz Help?

The easiest way to get motivated is to blog about something you enjoy....without that, then it just seems to much like work.

You should quit now if you can't write more than one blog post. Sorry, just being honest.

I have to agree with the above.

Don't bother doing anything unless you are passionate about it.

This includes blogging! Choose a topic that just flows... A topic where you feel you have a lot to say...

I think your blog should have been about cell phone reviews, not just one specific cellphone. I wouldn't be motivated to write more posts about 5530 xpressmusic every week either.

Everyone pretty much summed it up. Write about something you know and enjoy and it won't be such a task. I have 3 blogs and I write for another site that require daily updating and most days I can't wait to get started. Some nights I even post the next days news because I can't wait.

You can only force yourself for so long before one day turns into a week, and one week turns into a month.
You can't fake it. After you get so bored with your blogs subject matter, you will then start copying other articles already written and then you won't be offering anything of value to any readers.

Just curious. What niche is your blog, and why did you choose it?

I really understand your problem, my advice to you is to not focus on blogging

I mean don't try to open up your blog and start thinking and wondering about a topic, instead you have to surf the internet as you used and whenever you found something interesting in the niche your blog is about then DO blog about it, blogging is blogging .............you know what I mean?..... you don't have to be committed and motivated to drop a bunch of gibberish LOL just blog

The domain name doesn't suit your blog, the information is like its been copied, you can get the same information anywhere.

If you're not into what your blog is about now then its unlikely you will stick with that blog.

Consider opening another blog on something that you're bursting to write about, it helps.

How are you getting comments already on a blog with one post?

Are you actually into blogging or just doing it for the money? If you are just in it for the money, that's why you lack motivation. Blogging takes a lot of time, patience, and effort before you start making some real money from it. It's more long term than short term.

I just noticed that. Yeah, a niche that narrow is bound to be done in a few posts, unless there are hacks, and tutorials that you can offer.
My advice......add some graphics to the page, strip out the date, maybe some flash and leave it as a landing page and work on SEO to draw traffic.

Then start a new blog about something that you really want to write about.

Blog about something that keeps your interest.

If you get all motivated at the start then create several posts and schedule them to post in the future. A blog site needs at min 10 good unique articles to get off the ground and be indexed more extensively in the search engines.

IMO, blog is out of interest, then you can go further.
and if you really can not get motivated, you'd better stop and think for what you are interested.

nice blog, problem is you are doing all of this for money....skip the ads for now :) leave the express music topic, and blog about some other new nokia features, some other nokia phones related to your cell phone etc. Just like you did on the xpressmusic phone. BTW i got mine last night, spend 20 bucks for 31 days wordkbook from problogger.net. Its the exact thing that you need.
