    well..You should try article marketing...submit your site to social bookmarking and also try yahoo answers...

    Forum promotion is really a tough task. You need to invest tons of time, money, and effort in order to achieve what DP had achieved. But for the meantime, advance traffic strategies can deliver your forums a good number of visitors. Some of them are Banner advertising, PPC, E-mail Marketing, Social Media, and of course SEO.

    Follow these steps:

    Comments on DoFollow blogs
    Write articles then submit it to lots of article sites or directories
    Post/Reply to threads that are relevant to the topic
    Engaging on social bookmarking (digg, delicious, slashdot) and networking (facebook, twitter) sites
    Submit your site to directories. Make sure it is on the right category.
    Do link exchange. Exchange links from relevant sites.

    Here is the answer:

    1. Posting your links on social networking sites can give you more traffic.
    2. You can get traffic on Digital Point but not as much as on social networking sites.
    3. To increase the number of your posts you must participate regularly in this forum.:cool:

    Here are the things I do to increase traffic on my website:

    1. Look for sites that are offering Link Exchanges. Be sure it is related to your niche.
    2. Submit your blog posts on social bookmarking sites like Digg.
    3. Post your link on many forums.
    4. Blog Commenting.
