Well I dont know about you, but you can certainly increase your website/blog's pagerank by doing some link building and proper optimization lol !!!!
If you are just aiming for pagerank, then go ahead and buy atleast 4-5 PR8 links for your site, I am sure your weblog will turn to PR6 or PR7 by the next google update.
