My PR5 site gets about 15k-30k of traffic a month which I am happy with (since its mostly organic), however my pathetic conversion rate of .3% makes any attempt at advertising a waste of money. So some tips on increasing the conversion rate would be helpful. I think the landing page here: http://thebudgetgraph.com/site/ looks pretty good, with the product, info, quotes, and a call to action all in one. But am I missing something that is hurting my conversion rate? Or are their tricks to increase it? I know my product is unique and a bit more indepth than a ringtone, but do you think its communicated effectively?
Well, sounds to me you could use CPM ads (there's places where to put them) and then of course sell links (PR5 site). Your .../site/ page seems to be "different" from your actual blog site... perhaps you could put a big "read our blog" link, or "subscribe to newsletter/rss" in the /site/ page? Could help you get visitors come back (after all, you are using a toy to get traffic - which might mean they check only once)? Then you could perhaps throw some political affiliate stuff (not sure what though) Alternatively, you might put more prominent "share this with your friends" thing in the right side of the /site/ toy page?
