I am kind of stumped on what is the "best" way to do this... and I seem to always tackle it in the early mornings which has got to be the WORST time, haha.. Let me explain: It is for SonicMailer Pro (mailing list manager). Multiple lists, people can select which lists to subscribe to. Previously, you could also collect additional fields (name, address, etc.). These were global fields, applied/available to all lists. In the upcoming version, I have made them on a per-list basis but they can also be made available to alternate lists. Let say I have 3 lists: MList 1 - Fields: Name (available to 2nd list), Address, Phone # MList 2 - Fields: Age MList 3 - No fields Now, on the subscription form which fields should be displayed? I figured either a choice of all of them or specific ones the admin chooses. However, this is a tad redundant if, for example, you show any of them, and the user only subscribers to mailing list 3. It's extremely late but I hope I have outlined the issue at hand. Anyone able to give their input? I'd love to bounce ideas off people... Thanks!
