Find long tail keywords people are using that are closely related to your niche. Use google keyword tool: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal After you've found them post high quality articles on sites like: ezinearticles, squidoo, hubpages, digg, propeller etc. When you'll do this you'll get good SERP position for that (long tail) keyword and you'll start pulling traffic with each submission. Good luck
I don't mean to put you off, but you're competing in a pretty fierce niche. I say this because I did some consultancy work for a very large company in the same niche and these guys have massive ad budgets. For any matrimony site, you need to have a lot of member signups in place to encourage other members to sign up. It's difficult to do this without a considerable budget. Niche matrimony sites seem to be a better option for smaller players (for example for a specific culture given that you're obviously trying to penetrate the Indian/Asian market). You may also think about setting up a content website within the topic of matrimony, have a few videos & articles, get traffic to it and get signups in this way.
You can try bum marketing... Even though you are in a competitive niche, you can target specific keywords that are not competitive to drive traffic to your site.. Check it out at www.bummarketingmethod.com Cheers, Anup
Well, there is not much to the site. I did a very broad search and found few results. There is no substitute for good content! If you don't have many members/participants you need to start there. Build a community of singles (hopefully in a specific demographic niche) using blog and forums and then they will have reason to visit your site. Right now, you do not have much to offer them once they get there.
