Help me please! (cheaterland dot com) site have done abusing activity with my client's name on web. The webpage of this site showing in Google search results. It's putting negative impact on client's portfolio. How can remove this page from Google search results?
You can't remove it! All you can do is: 1) convince the site to remove the content or 2) Gets lots of other rankings or our client that ranks above it to push it down in te hsearh results dumb advice. Nothing google can or will do.
You have reported the issue. But it can take time until action is taken. Sometimes no action will be taken. But during all this time your client will get a negative impact on his business. You could do as above has stated, which is to take contact the site and ask them to remove the content. The site has a responsibility as they apparently host the content. If they don't want to do anything about it, you could contact their hosting provider. Do a quick Google search and you will find a website that will show you who is the hosting provider. If this doesn't work, you could contact the domain name provider and see if they will help. The last thing you can do is to get in touch with a solicitor or lawyer who can for example send legal letters, where they demand that the website in question removes the content. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. More legal steps can be taken if necessary. Regardless the attempts to get the content removed, you should help your client to get other rankings to his website, because that will demote the negative search results from displaying on the first or second page on Google.
bury it under positive reviews but make sure the positive PR is done right and doesn't cause more damage - we get lots of people trying to do that here and they make things much, much worse
Negative feedback is not something illegal, therefore there is no way to remove it with pressure. As @sarahk said, either bury it under genuine positive reviews, or you're pretty much screwed. Negative reviews do not usually appear as the #1 result, which leads me to think that those are the only ones you've got.
Apart from burying the negative review under genuine positive reviews, what do you suggest that one should do if the review is false and done with intent to destroy one's reputation?
