Yes sir. I just want equality amongst newbies and the old dp members. We are just starting. Give us some time to gather up thousands of posts then I say after that, judge us. Thank you wisdomtool for acknowledging my effort in raising this topic.
Of course you can't trust thousands of people that you have never met. However, as with dealing with anybody you need to be smart. I can look through someone's postings and can spot a scammer most of the time. Newbies that post a bunch of garbage just to get to be able to post in the BST is a good indicated. Bottom feeders who are always asking for free reviews when none is offered is another. Those who jump on every nickel and dime deal are normally looking to build a rep prior to scamming. These are just a few indicators but you can normally spot the patterns. I have not had a problem with any deal I made here but I am careful who I deal with. Post count and time is one indicator but there many others. If in doubt, avoid the deal. It is better to say no than be scammed out of a couple hundred dollars. As a newbie, come to the forum and offer something of value and be useful before just trying to make a quick buck. Have fun and get to know people, than you will be able to do deals with people who you trust and who trust you. Good luck and I hope you have a long life at DP.
Yup. I just earned 13 points for my reputation within 4 days and am proud to say that. With the iTraders thing, I don't really know anything about it. I guess I have to read more stuffs about it on the FAQ's.
You can trust dp members based on their post counts,REP and iTrader. In iTrader you can check further that how many positive / negative he/she has. DON.
just treat them like stranger, itrader or rep doesn't mean anything cause they can easily build up, there are high rep/itrader member scam other before, also, account could be hacked
I think its more than itrader and rep points because there are also ppl new here that dont have those yet but are not scammmers. Everyone was once a newbie. Each situation is different and each should be considered on a case by case basis.
