How quick can you resell a domain name / site?

Hi

As an example, if I purchase a domain on Sept 1 can I resell it straight away or do I have to wait a certain period of time? In order words am I able to transfer the domain to a buyer if I sell if straight away?

I've got a feeling a read somewhere (and I can't remember where or find it again) that you have to wait 60 days after the purchase before you and sell / transfer it. Does anyone know if this is correct?

It depends of the registrar, but I think most of them make you wait from 30 to 60 days after registration before you can transfer your domain to another registrar.

So if I registered a domain with GoDaddy and sold it to someone else with a GoDaddy a/c, does that mean I could push that domain to them straight away because it wouldn't be going to another registrar?

Normally to push the domain in the same registrar u have to wait for 5 days atleast

Thanks! So pretty much straight away if buyer and seller are with the same registrar, no waiting one or two months if with different one.
