Well yahoo answers is a great source of targetted traffic. If your going to use it then answer honestly. If not have some professionals do it for you.
Yes.. as long as you provide accurate on topic answer.. I do not see Yahoo has a problem with it.. btw, your website is not working
I tried yahoo answers on my own but ended up paying someone to do it for me. I gave him keywords so he could search for questions in my sites theme and the sites domain name. He is going to send me a report.
Promoting your products on Yahoo Answers is not hard, you just need to make sure that your product is going to somehow related and can be the solution for their questions / problems.
Just make sure to be honest about your answers and don't spam. You should wait until level 2 until you post url's in your source. It is just a better chance of not getting banned.

If you can answer some questions where the link to your website is useful for the readers it is a good way how to promote your website. But be careful -- if you answer too many questions and put the same URL in the answers you will probably get banned.
