How Page Rank considered?

    If High page rank website not getting the huge volume traffic. How google consider the Page rank.

    It's part of the algorithm, and a large part, but it's not all of it and it's got nothing to do with traffic. To get large volumes of traffic from search engines you need to be on the front page of serps for popular keywords.

    You could have a site with very high PageRank - lets say for example, a site that's existed for 10 years, that's very authoritative on a scientific subject, and so has has long-established backlinks from university sites etc, but only gets searched for it's keywords 5 times a month by grad students - high PageRank, low traffic

    Well, focusing of getting high PR wont increase your traffic. I have tons of blogs with PR 0 but receiving hundreds of unique visitors a day. What matter most, is the rankings for highly searched KWs. PR only plays a little role, but ranking is not all about it, any way, it is still an ingredient on having a good ranking :)

    Amount of traffic to a website is definitely not a factor to determine the PR. Instead, number of backlinks and the quality of backlinks are the crucial factors.
