Very well said, rep given. This is the grey area of the web that includes things like buying and selling domain names with page rank. Althought the action itself does not seem that bad the idea, methods and motivation behind it is highly suspect. I would rather get to the first page of the index in 3 months with pure white hat SEO than make it to the first page in 3 weeks and risk getting penalized and/or banned.

 

firs, 5 days my friend is unheard of, i don't "think", but i know that it is impossible, even if a seo is using every trick not in the book, it is still going to take 1 to 2 months even for the genius SEO, unless of course your targeted keyword is "nice and cheap nike sport shoes for less than 10 dollars ", also keep in mind that rankings gained in a very short period usually last for a very short period too , the timing and rate of getting links is very important.

Try using a US proxy, or check the photolog or netlog pages in the top 10 for Viagra. Everyone else can see them, so you are obviously hitting a DC with very different results.

As for checking a pages age, unless it's timestamped about the most you can do is check the servers Last Modified headers or if the URL is ranking for a huge term with PR N/A chances are it's newer than the last PR update.

So would i, in fact if your SEO does this id most definitely be asking for a refund ASAP.

My post wasn't about ranking stability, how ethical certain methods are or anything of the type. A claim was made it's impossible to rank for a highly competitive word or phrase in a matter of weeks and i showed it most definitely is.

It's also possible to obtain similar rankings using ethical methods, not quite as fast but nearly as quick.

As my knowledge, it is imposible to get a good rank in 5 - 15 days, with out using black hat.......

 

It is not easy to guarantee 5-15 days because its not a 2,3 days work its all depend on your daily activities on your website..if your daily activities are more and you can get lot of back links daily then we can say maybe you can achieve your goal otherwise very difficult.

 

If you have keywords who have very little competition and you use good quality articles, then it may be possible. Or they may use black hat technique. Using black hat technique you may rank your keywords dramatically, which are in a very competitive market.

 

Being a SEO consultant what i can suggest is ranking in a short span of 5-15 days is next to impossible unless you are having a low competitive keyword to optimize. No matter how much blackhat you are following or what ever you are doing.

Logically if such thinks are really possible then you are clamming that you can hack Google ranking algorithm. Google is meant for executing best possible search result and if someone says that he can make any website in top position for any keyword in just for few days then capabilities of Google search engineers is on question.

Moreover i think in such a scenario Google will like to hire such SEO experts to prevent spamming by kicking our guys like matt cutt.....
