Hi guys, i have a web directory and in that first month i got something like 70 unique visitors/day, i think this is a good start.

Well i put the adsense in +- 2 weeks ago and got only 6 clicks in 2.500 views.
I put the code in the top of page, you can see in www.novawd.com but the problem is - People don´t click in any ads.

I don´t use any criterion in adsense config.

Anyone have some tip for me?

To be honest, web directories are going to have extremely low CTR because people go to them to submit sites and not to look for information.

One thing you may want to try (if you can) is placing some of those medium and large rectangular Adsense boxes on your site. I had read that those are the highest converting, but didn't believe it until I stuck some on my site. The CTRs are way up.

I could be wrong, but I would speculate that directory clickthrough ratios are very low because it's hard to automatically select ads that are contextually relevant. There's no one topic on the page the seems to stand out above the rest. Because of this, it's unlikely at any given time the ads showing are of interest to the person visiting the site.

i think you must chage your site category. forums, directories and game sites are not earning from adsense
